Service Engineer

Your responsibilities

As a full-time employee at Escaux, you will be part of our Service team and responsible for the first level support of our solutions. You will report to the Service team leader on a day to day basis.


Your tasks

  • You are the first contact with all customers, handling incoming support calls.
  • You ensure the follow-up of new incident tickets and resolve customer incidents with help of second level, as needed.
  • You amend customer configurations upon customer request.
  • You will learn how to provide services to customers in an ITIL environment.

Your profile

  • You are a passionate ICTer with at least a bachelor degree in information technology.
  • You have a good knowledge of Linux environments and have a general interest in Open Source software.
  • Knowledge of the devops approach and open standards, like SIP and related technology is a plus.
  • You have a first experience in a similar position and are eager to learn from senior colleagues.
  • You speak two of the following languages fluently : French, Dutch and English.
  • You are a problem solver and focus on making a customer happy.
  • You are curious, proactive and have a structured approach to managing tasks.

Telecom Engineer

Your responsibilities

  • You document customer solutions and Escaux products.
  • You will learn how to provide services to customers in an ITIL environment.

  • You are used to working in a Linux environment and have a general interest in Open Source software.
  • Knowledge of the devops approach and open standards, like SIP and related technology is a plus.
  • You have proven experience in a similar position and are eager to learn from senior colleagues.
